Biggest news here is: People still buy blank CDs?
This shows exactly how out of touch the music industry is. While they are lobbying for the goverment to raise the 'pirate tax' on blank media, everyone is downloading music from either Apple iTunes, or just plain downloading from P2P. (cause there's really no good legal alternative for DRM free music in Canada yet. Amazon? HELLO?!, even the zune marketplace is still US only... /facepalm Microsoft). I'm perfectly fine with this. It doesn't affect online music stores, or people like me that just rip store bought CDs to mp3 or whatever, and debatably lets my Mom legally make copies of Boney M christmas for her friends.
* Yes I know about puretracks, if they get some good metal and I might think about it. its mostly indie stuff and lamestream stuff like Britney Spears.
