IMO, music games are poised to be the savior of the music industry. It gives young people an opportunity to learn about band that they might never have been exposed to. Also most people I know (possibly myself included) rarely buy any music anymore, wether it be online via itunes or whatever or the occasional CD. I guess its a side effect of being over 30. I've established my music library and besides the odd exception, I generally don't like any new music out there so I am fine with living with the music I have. However I have bought several tunes off of the rock band store. So congrats music industry on finding a way for me to pay for music I have already bought again in a diffrent format.
Whats that? You want more money? Go to hell. GO TO HELL.
Fine don't license you music to games, you don't deserve it. Let the indy artists become popular and then you dissapear and we won't have to listen to your whining anymore.
