A/V companies struggling to keep up with malware variations

The Storm worm's legacy continues to be felt after its effects have largely subsided. Both F-Secure and McAfee released an updated count of how many malware variations each protects against. Both companies reported a nearly two-fold increase, largely caused by the rapid number of Storm variations that appeared over 2007.
