Those who know me, know that I like to complain. I complain about pretty much anything I can think of a reason to complain about. Hey, I'm from Newfoundland, its how we are. But the current situation regarading exchange rates and the obvious practices of companies taking advantage of Canadian consumers needs to be complained about. And loudly. The fact is, our dollar is almost the same value as the US dollar, (give or take a cent around .95 cents US) yet we still pay roughly 10-12% more on things like electronics and computers software. The most recent and ridiculous example I have seen is the price of Wii points cards. This blog posting I found on Kotaku (gaming new website) shows the pricing retardedness. Luckly, I used my Mastercard to buy Wii points.
